For Photographers who enjoy the mountains, we offer many hours in the wild that allow you to work in solitude in order to enhance your art with an accomplished Photographer and Master Naturalist.

I am Stephen T. Gibson, Owner of Wild Mountain Trout Fly Fishing, Virginia Smallmouth and Mountain Guide, and a accomplished Photographer located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.  

I have had works published and shown in the following:

WHAT IS OFFERED:  One-on-one Guiding and/or Instructions for photographers who thrive to improve their skills and enhance the overall beauty of their finished work. 

Places we would visit in the Virginia Mountains:
* Appalachian Mountains
* Allegheny Mountains
* Shenandoah Mountain 
* Blue Ridge Mountains 
* Shenandoah National Park (SNP) 
* Blue Ridge Parkway

Intimate locations within the above mentioned mountain ranges: 
* Away from the crowds and traffic where you can be fully creative  
* Back roads 
* Ridges and hollows 
* Rock outcrops
* Vistas and panoramas 
* Forest Ecology
* Botany
* Wild trout streams
* Wildflowers
* Butterflies
* Deer
* Wild turkey 
* Lakes
* Wetlands (vernal pools and bogs)
* Mountain tops 
* Quiet sunsets and more.
(Some hiking may be required depending on what you are wishing to see and photograph.)

If you are already an accomplished photographer then I will hold my place in the background so you can work.  If you are in need of improving on your photographic skills, we will explore the following areas:
* Image composition 
* Lighting 
* Back lighting 
* Exposure
* Image flow 
* Subject matter 
* Depth of field
* Double exposures 
* F-stops and shutter speeds (if your camera has these settings)

   * Half Day (4hrs): $80
   * Full Day (6-8hrs.): $145
